Walter (“Pete”) Condoli, American jazz trumpeter, brother of Conte, lead trumpet with Woody Herman’s First Heard (as well as great soloist), studio musician with more than 5000 sessions in Los Angeles, voted as one of the top seven jazz trumpeters of all time by Look and Esquire magazines, inducted into the International Jazz Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Big Band Hall of Fame in 2003, died in Studio City, California.
