Burnette (George) Dillon, American trumpeter, conductor, professor of trumpet and band director at the University of Oregon (1970-5), freelance studio musician, principal trumpet of the Pasadena Symphony, Pacific Symphony Orchestra, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Joffrey Ballet Orchestra, conductor of the Eugene Symphonic Band, born in Los Angeles, California.
