I gave a solo recital almost year while I was teaching at George Mason University. In 2007, one of the pieces I played was Georges Enesco’s Legende, a beautiful and famous piece in our trumpet repertoire. It’s one of my favorites. Here is a live recording of that. At the end, I use a “Montreal” fiber straight mute–a colorful mute for quite playing. The pianist is Kelly Ker Hackleman.
