Ezra Bagley, American cornetist, soloist with Gilmore’s European tour band of 1878, principal trumpet with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (1880-1886), noted for his modest personality and agile articulation, composer of many marches (not to be confused with his brother, Edwin E. Bagley, composer of National Emblem March) born in Albany, Vermont.
