Thorvald Hansen, Danish cornetist and trumpeter, pianist, violinist, composer of many cornet solos, including is famous Sonata, op. 18, principal trumpet of the Royal Danish Orchestra, conductor of the Tivoli Wind Band, assistant organist of Our Lady’s Church in Copenhagen, trumpet teacher at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music, author of a method for low F trumpet, died in Copenhagen, Denmark.
