Paolo Longinotti, Swiss trumpeter and composer, member of the Radio Lausanne Orchestra, the Suisse Romande Orchestra and principal of the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, teacher at the Geneva Conservatory (1950-62), known today for his composition Scherzo Iberico and his Studies in the Modern and Classical Style, died in Geneva, Switzerland.
