Willy Brandt, Russian cornetist and trumpeter (of German birth), principal trumpet of the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra, member of a brass quartet in Moscow with Mikhail Tabakov, renowned soloist in the 1890s in Moscow, professor at the conservatory in Saratov, writer of several trumpet solos and etudes, beloved by his students and the townspeople, died in Saratov, Russia, of poisoning from a vaccination.
