Guy Touvron, French trumpeter, student of Maurice André, winning 1st prize in cornet and trumpet at the Paris Conservatory, principal of the Philharmonic Orchestra of French Radio-Television, leader of the Guy Touvron Brass Ensemble, winner of many international competitions, thousands of solo appearances and many recordings, professor at the Lyons Regional Conservatory and the Paris Regional Conservatory, biographer of Maurice André, premiered Chaynes Second Concerto, featured artist at ITG Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico (1982) and Manchester, England (2002), recipient of the Officer of the Order National du Mérite of France, born in Vichy, France.
