Elbridge Wright, American instrument maker, known for excellent keyed bugles, Civil War instrument supplier (keys and then valves), director of the Wright & Newcombe Quadrille Band, merged his business with Samuel Graves & Co. to form the Boston Musical Instrument Manufactory, then withdrew and worked with Hall & Quinby, died in Boston, Massachusetts.
