Fred Mills, Canadian trumpeter, studied with Vacchiano at Juilliard, principal of Houston Symphony and then American Symphony (both on invitation by Stokowski), returned to Canada to play and contract for the National Ballet of Canada in 1968, then named principal with the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottowa, then finally founding member of the Canadian Brass, performing more than 3,500 concerts, contributing more than 50 arrangements and recording more than 40 CDs in 24 years, became professor at the University of Georgia (1996-2009), born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
