Eric Vloeimans, Dutch trumpeter, switched to jazz at the Rotterdam Academy of Music, went to NYC studying with Donald Byrd, played in big bands of Frank Foster and Mercer Ellington, returned to the Netherlands, received Edison Award and the VPRO/Boy Edgar Award, known for electronic special effects, born in Huizen, Netherlands.
