Louis Davidson, American trumpeter, second trumpet with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (age 16), played with the Ballet Russe and the NBC Radio Orchestra and Radio City Music Hall in NYC, principal of Cleveland Orchestra at age 23, taught at Indiana University, introduced Time Dokshitser to American trumpet community, wrote two important books, Trumpet Technique and Trumpet Profiles, died in Studio City, California.
