Philip Smith, influential American orchestral trumpeter and soloist, while still student at Juilliard, won 4th trumpet in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, then won principal in the NY Philharmonic, soloist with many brass bands, featured ITG artist, and on many recordings, professor at Univ. of Georgia, born in London, England.
