Salvatore (“Tutti”) Camarata, American trumpeter, as trumpeter and arranger, joined the Charlie Barnet band, Bing Crosby radio show, Paul Whiteman’s band, Jimmy Dorsey’s orchestra and Benny Goodman, became flight instructor in the US Air Force in WWII, became music director and arranger for Decca Records, then formed London Records with Sir Edward Lewis, then produced albums for Disneyland Records, earning him eight Grammy Award nominations, died in Burbank, California.
