John Wilbraham, British trumpeter, member of New Philharmonia Orchestra, then principal of Royal Philharmonic, principal of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, studied with Maurice André for a while, regular member of the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, recorded with The Beatles on the Magical Mystery Tour and soundtrack Diamonds are Forever, taught at the Royal Academy of Music, the Birmingham School of Music, the Royal Military School of Music and Wells Cathedral School, plagued by diabetes, born in Bournemouth, England.
