Harold Lieberman, American trumpeter, at 18 played 2nd trumpet in Hartford Symphony Orchestra, joined US Air Force Band, performed in Broadway pit orchestras in NYC, became staff musician for CBS, played with Benny Goodman and Pink Floyd, commissioned Richard Peaslee to write Nightsongs for a Carnegie Hall recital, taught at Ramapo College, Mannes College of Music and the Manhattan School of Music, born in Hartford, Connecticut.
