Charles Margulis, American jazz trumpeter, joined the Jean Goldkette Orchestra (1924) and the Paul Whiteman Orchestra (1927-30), worked as a lead trumpet studio musician in the 1930s-40s, played Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue under Paul Whiteman at Carnegie Hall, died in Little Falls, Minnesota.
