Freddy Randall, English jazz trumpeter, never learned to read music, formed his own Saint Louis Four in 1939, joined the Army Rifle Brigade (1940-43), formed his own traditional jazz band, joined the Garbage Men (a comedy group), formed his own groups and recorded during the 1940s and 50s, stopped playing because of lung problems in 1958 (but made a few appearances later), born in East London, England.
