Seymour Rosenfeld, American trumpeter, studied with Max Schlossberg, Ernest Williams and Saul Caston, played in the 102nd Infantry Band during WWII, member of the Ballets Russes de Monte Carlo, principal in St. Louis Symphony (at 21 years of age), second trumpet in the Philadelphia Orchestra (1946-1988), born on this day.
