Mark Inouye, American trumpeter, comfortable in jazz and symphonic styles, soloist at Tanglewood Music Festival, toured with trumpet/organ duo, toured with the Empire Brass (1995-6), member of the New World Symphony in Florida (1996-8), principal of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra (1998-9), second, assistant principal in San Francisco Symphony Orchestra (1999-2001), principal in Houston Symphony Orchestra (2004-6), eventually after series of auditions, named principal of San Francisco, teacher at the San Francisco Conservatory, born in Davis, California.
