This Day in History: 1926-05-30

Tony Terran, American trumpeter, toured with Horace Heidt, stayed in Los Angeles as studio musician, played on the I Love Lucy Show, played on more than 10,000 recordings, back hundreds of artists, received the “Most Valuable Player Award” from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in 1974, born in Buffalo, New York.
