Walter Morrow, English trumpeter, succeeded Thomas Harper Jr. as the principal player in all the leading orchestras, invented a new type of trumpet to play music of J.S. Bach (inspired by German trumpeter, Julius Kosleck’s similar instrument), taught at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School, advocated the trumpet in F, born in Liverpool, England.
