Tomasz Stańko, Polish jazz trumpeter, formed the Jazz Darlings in 1962, joined Krzystof Komeda’s quintet, joined Alexander von Schlippenbach’s Globe Unity Orchestra, toured with Finnish drummer Edward Vesala, learned to play with dentures, recorded dozens of albums, considered one of Poland’s most famous musicians, born in Rzeszów, Poland.
