Charlie Teagarden, American jazz trumpeter, played in orchestras of Ben Pollack, Red Nichols, Roger Wolfe Kahn and Paul Whiteman, with brother Jack and Frankie Trumbauer formed a trio called the Three Ts, served in Army during WWII, afterwards, member of orchestras of Harry James, his brother, Jimmy Dorsey, Bob Crosby and Pete Fountain, born in Vernon, Texas.
