Dick Collins, American jazz trumpeter, played in the groups of Earl Gladman, Dave Brubeck’s octet, studied composition with Darius Milhaud, performed and recorded with the Charlie Barnet, Charles Mingus, Alvino Rey, Woody Herman, became studio performer in LA, toured with the Les Brown Orchestra, born in Seattle, Washington.
