Bobby Lee Bradford, American jazz trumpeter, composer and bandleader, played in group with Ornette Coleman and Eric Dolphy in 1953, played in Gerald Wilson’s orchestra and Wardell Gray’s band, played in Air Force bands during the 1950s, then played with Quincy Jones, again with Coleman, then worked in LA with John Carter in the New Art Jazz Ensemble in 1966, taught in Pasadena City College and Pomona College, born in Cleveland, Mississippi.
