Niklas Eklund, Swedish trumpeter, son of Bengt Eklund, studied baroque trumpet with Ed Tarr after his Parisian studies with Thibau, played with Concerto Köln, coprincipal of the Basel Radio Symphony, 1st prize winner in the Altenburg International Baroque Trumpet Competition in Bad Säckingen, released the 5-CD album set The Art of the Baroque Trumpet, nominated for a Grammy, born in Göteborg, Sweden.
