Jeff Tyzik, American trumpeter, composer, arranger, producer and conductor, studied trumpet and composition at Eastman, played lead trumpet with Chuck Mangione (1975-80), coproduced four albums with Mangione, worked with Doc Severinsen as arranger, contributed arrangements to the Tonight Show Band and the bands of Maynard Ferguson and Woody Herman, composed many television themes, developed a pops program with Allen Vizzutti for symphony orchestras, produced Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated recordings with the Tonight Show Band, Pops Conductor of the Rochester Philharmonic, born in Hyde Park, New York.
