Clyde Hurley, American jazz trumpeter, joined Ben Pollack’s band in 1938 as soloist, L.A. studio musician, played with Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, on staff with the MGM and NBC orchestra, died in Ft. Worth, Texas.
