David Bilger, American trumpeter, member of the National Repertory Orchestra (1981), winner of the Young Artists Guild competition in New York, toured as member of the New York Trumpet Ensemble, coprincipal, then principal, of Dallas Symphony Orch, principal of the Philadelphia Orchestra, teacher at the Curtis Institute of Music, known as both an orchestral trumpeter and soloist, born in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
