Charles Joseph, French cornetist, first prize in the Paris Conservatory in 1888, principal cornet in the Musique d’Artillerie de Vincennes, piston ripiane with the Garde Républicaine Band (1891), received the title of “Officier d’Academie” (1901), performed in 1904 World’s Fair in Saint Louis, made some recordings (1899-1907), died on this day.
