Brian Lynch, American trumpeter and composer, joined Charles McPherson’s group, moved to NYC playing with George Russell, Horace Silver, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers and many others, Grammy Award-winner, teacher at New York University, North Netherlands Conservatory, prof at the Frost School of Music at Univ. of Miami, born in Urbana, Illinois.
