Uan Rasey, American trumpeter, considered one of the top studio trumpeters ever, recorded over 2,500 film and tv soundtracks, lost the use of both legs from polio at age 10, performed with Benny Goodman, Warner Bros, Bob Crosby and Paul Whiteman after graduating from high school, staff musician with Mutual Radio station, MGM studio musician (first trumpet from 1948-79), died in Los Angeles, California.
