Roy Poper, American trumpeter, studied with James Stamp, recorded more than 2000 film scores, founding member of Modern Brass Quintet, played with Frank Zappa, various Broadway shows, principal of LA Chamber Orch, taught at CalArts, Pepperdine, CalState Northridge, USC and prof at Oberlin Conservatory, born in Los Angeles, California.
