Fay Hanson, American cornetist, studied with H.L. Clarke, became brass teaching specialist and assistant band director at Weber State College, known as an exceptional teacher, especially of beginners, wrote book, Brass Playing: Mechanism and Technic, died in Ogden, Utah.
