Charlie Lewis, American trumpeter, played principal on the Bernstein Mass at the opening of the Kennedy Center by invitation of Leonard Bernstein, founding member of the Empire Brass, played with the Boston Jazz Repertory Orch and many other noted groups, faculty at New England Conservatory, Boston Univ and Berklee College, born in Wilmington, Delaware.
