Stanley Curtis (that’s me!), American trumpeter, played in the Tuscaloosa Symph, principal of Evansville Symph Orch, adjunct at Univ of Evansville, member of Owensboro Symph Orch, Fulbright to the Netherlands studying baroque trumpet with Friedemann Immer, 3rd/ass in Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia (1995-8), member of the US Navy Band (1998-2018), member of the Washington Cornett and Sackbut Ensemble, chair of the Historic Division of NTC (2002-2008), performed with Washington Bach Consort, Bach Sinfonia, Apollo’s Fire, prize winner at International Altenburg Competition for Baroque Trumpet in Bad Säckingen (1996), assistant prof at Colorado State Univ, principal Fort Collins Symphony, born in Florence, Alabama.
