Mark Ledford, American jazz trumpeter, composer and singer, played in the bands of Jon Hendricks and in Broadway musical, Sarafinal, produced TV jingles, released solo album in 1998, sang in Bobby McFerrin’s vocal group, Circle, played trumpet, guitar and drums in Pat Metheny’s band, died in LA at age 44.
