George (“Kid Sheik”) Cola, American jazz trumpeter, at 15 formed his first band, the Kid Sheik’s Swingsters (1923 to 1945), played in the Tuxedo Brass Band, company bugler in the army during WWII, then played, back in New Orleans, with the Eureka Brass Band, Olympia Brass Band, John Handy, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, died in Detroit, Michigan.
