Jean-François Madeuf, French baroque trumpeter, played in a Batterie-Fanfare on natural trumpet at 14, while in conservatory, solo cornet and trumpet with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Nice, began to perform on natural baroque trumpet with the Baroque Ensemble of Nice, Baroque ensemble of Limoges, and many others, taught at the conservatory in Montpellier, baroque trumpet at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Lyon, teacher of David Guerrier, replaced Ed Tarr as baroque trumpet teacher at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in 2001, manages the Cuivres Romantiques, plays with Les Arts Florissants, and many others, born in Riom, France.
