James Morrison, Australian trumpeter (and performer on many other instruments, at age 9 was leading a Dixieland band, at 13 performed 4 nights a week at nightclubs, while student at New South Wales Conservatorium, was hired to teach jazz, formed the Morrison Brothers Big Bad Band, performed with hundreds of prominent musicians, given command performances for Queen Elizabeth II, and two American presidents, born in Boorowa, Australia.
