Jeff Stockham, American trumpet and horn player, played in the Airport Funk Band, toured Africa with Jimmy Johnson and Europe with Thelonius Monk, founder of the Excelsior Cornet Band, specialist on the keyed bugle (and other 19th-century brass instruments), won first prize in the 19th-c. Historic Division of 2008 NTC, teaches jazz at Colgate Univ, member of Dreaming the Duke Ensemble and the Jazz Police, born in Rochester, New York.
