Richard Giangiulio, American trumpeter and conductor, won a youth solo competition at age 13, studied on Fulbright with Maurice André, first prize at the Paris Conservatory and the Geneva competition, member of the Tel Aviv Phil, principal of the Philadelphia Chamber Orch, principal of the Dallas Symphony Orch (1969-93), conductor of the Greater Dallas Youth Orch, the New Philharmonic Orch of Irving and the Allen Philharmonic Orch, born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
