Melton Mustafa, American jazz trumpeter, played with R&B bands such as Uptown Funk All-Stars, the Marvelettes and others, played with Lionel Hampton, Jaco Pastorius, Duke Ellington and many others, led his own Melton Mustafa Orchestra, released numerous albums, head of music dept at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, prof at Florida Memorial Univ, born in Miami, Florida.
