Henry (“Hot Lips”) Levine, American trumpeter and bandleader, played in the Original Dixieland Jazz Band at age 19, played in Bert Ambrose’s band (in England), returned to US to play with Rudy Vallee, staff trumpeter with NBC studios (1933-44; 1945-58), director of the Chamber Music Society of Lower Basin Street, served as bandleader during WWII, trumpet soloist and bandleader in several Florida hotels, led hotel bands in Las Vegas, born in London, England.
