ydney Desvigne, American trumpeter and bandleader, played in various New Orleans café bands, the Excelsior Brass Band, Maple Leaf Orchestra, and many others, joined Fate Marable’s riverboat band (and later led this band), established his own big band and nightclub, died in Pacoima, California.
