Tony Scodwell, American trumpeter and instrument maker, joined the Stan Kenton Orch (1962), played with the Harry James Orch in Las Vegas (1964-65), Tommy Dorsey, lived in Germany and played with the Kurt Edelhagen-Cologne Television and Radio Band, lead trumpet with the Buddy Rich Band, worked at Harrah’s Club in Reno (1966-68), lead with Max Geger’s band in Germany, performed with countless celebrities, designed his own line of trumpets (SCODWELL USA in 1988), born in Beloit, Washington.
