Christopher Moore, American trumpeter, taught at Morningside College (1989-93), toured with the Chestnut Brass Company (1994-96), taught at the Univ of Kansas, member of the Kansas Brass Quintet (1996-2003), prof at Florida State Univ, Grammy Award in 2000 for Chestnut Brass Company’s recording of Hornsmoke, prizewinner in the Ellsworth Smith Competition and the MTNA Competition, born in Gainesville, Florida.
