Fred Stone, Canadian trumpeter, flugelhornist and composer, member of the CBC Symphony Orch and the Phil Nimmons band, recorded with Duke Ellington, led a few bands and did studio work, teacher at Centennial College, formed and led a student jazz ensemble, wrote many compositions for flugelhorn with jazz ensemble, died in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
