Chuck Findley, American trumpeter, at 17 played with the Jimmy Dorsey Orch, studied with Bernard Adelstein, played with the Buddy Rich Band, in 1968 became top lead trumpet player in Las Vegas, moved to LA in 1969, joined Louie Bellson’s band, became studio musician, played in the Metropole Orchestra in Holland, member of Peter Herbolzheimer’s GRP All Star Big Band, member of Doc Severinsen’s (and Branford Marsalis’) The Tonight Show orchestra, lead for many stars, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
